Day 324: Sax-Zim Bog Gray Birds

This winter I am working as a volunteer host at the Sax-Zim Bog Visitor Center. The Bog is the premier winter birding location for Boreal birds in the USA. The bog provides the opportunity to see birds which venture south from the frozen regions of northern Canada to Minnesota for their winter vacation in the warm south (i.e. northern Minnesota).

Before spending time at the visitor center, I went out birding myself and enjoyed watching a Great Gray Owl hunt, and a Gray Jay (Canada Jay) enjoy some suet.
