Greenwood Creek Boreal Bog Trail Cam Videos – White Wolf & Much More!

Over the past few days I have finally been able to get up to Greenwood Creek trailhead for the first time in almost a month. Road construction has prevented me from reaching my beautiful boreal bog (serious comment) and the birdfeeders I maintain without a fifty mile detour. My wilderness area does not have many roads. While the construction on Lake County 2 is not complete, the highway is now reopened to traffic (with construction delays through early October).

Thus, it had been almost one month since I had made my almost 2.5 mile hike to retrieve / swap out trailcam sim cards. Oh wow! While my favorite camera ran out of battery power almost two weeks ago, it provided some fantastic close-ups of wildlife, including an white wolf and many, many moose!

I hope you enjoy these two visits to the Greenwood Bog which took place over the past four days. Better yet, there was nary a bug this morning. My final comment … all of these still images and videos were taken within 150 yards of each other, but a long way from Lake County #2 (only accessible by foot/hiking).

Spruce Grouse and Moose (one calf)

And now Greenwood Bog at the Movies! Amazing close-ups. Videos are all taken from a few feet away or less!
