Sea Smoke Sunrise Over Lake Superior at -25F / -32C

It was cold, but beautiful this morning as I looked out over Duluth and Lake Superior at sunrise. Lake Superior is generating huge amounts of sea smoke (Wikipedia link)  due to the severe cold and the relative warmth yet of the water.

  1. Richard, seasons greetings to you and your family. Look forward to touching base with you again in the new year. Spent to very cold mornings at two Iowa spillways this past week. The eagles are starting to congregate.
