Last winter in the Greenwood Creek northern Minnesota wilderness I found a scent branch which a Canada Lynx was using to mark its territory (see post). I then deployed multiple trailcams at the spot. This Summer in the same region, I found another scent location, but this time in addition to Canada Lynx … fox, bear and timber wolves are also using the scent bush & log! Finally a Bull Moose is hanging around the same area, but does not seem to be interested in the other animal’s spaying spot. Once again I have deployed multiple cameras. Enjoy the images and videos.

If you have never visited the Nature Conservancy Sand Lake / 7 Beavers Preserve it is worth a hike. I particularly like the Greenwood Creek area where I maintain birdfeeders and frequently hike the trail deep into the Boreal Forest.
