Day 042: White Ibis Times Three

The pond outside the hospital continues to provide a wealth of bird photography opportunities. About 10 white ibises were feeding on the far side of the pond, and were kind enough to wait for me to take the elevator down from the seventh floor, and walk over!

Day 041: Wing Commander, You are cleared for takeoff!

These three photographs were taken within micro-seconds of each other. I felt lucky to get a picture of both a great egret and a great blue heron in the same photograph. It then got better!

Wildlife Habitat: Dead vs Alive

Browse on over to my main blog, NorthStarNerd.Org. I have a post with multiple photos on the subject of wildlife habitat. Here is a photo of my own northern Minnesota home. Note how my yard is a combination of woods, long grasses and perennials. Please give some consideration before you have the perfectly manicured lawn maintained with tons of fertilizer.
