Snowy Owl Book Cover Poll

My new children’s book, Snowy Searches for Color, goes to the printer next week and will definitely be available by the holidays. One of my final decisions is to choose and cover, and I would like your help! (see my other children’s books)

Please indicate your favorite cover … here are the two options. Remember this is a children’s picture book, and would be in that section of a bookstore.

You will find a checkbox underneath the images.

The polls for the Snowy Owl book cover are now closed! Thank you for your input.

  1. I especially the first photo, when the snowy owl looks at you
    with its yellow eyes.
The other one in the snowy field is great, too.
    So the choice was difficult.
Do you ever publish a book (for bird lovers) with all your
wonderful photos; I like especially the ones in flight, the wings
    are amazing!!

    1. Gudrun: I have been toying with the idea of writing a 52 weeks of Northland Birding, which would have lots of photographs and ideas for birding NE Minnesota. However, this would have to be a winter time project.

Remember, I welcome readers downloading any photograph which have my permission for off line use without charge.

  2. We like the first picture with Snowy looking at us. The type face of the title needs to be bigger, to catch the eye of children!

  3. Both have merit! The top one with the blue sky is so eye popping that in ANY section of the book store my grandchildren as well as myself would be drawn to it. It is begging to be opened and explored and read. Can’t wait to explore and read it… thank you for creating it, Richard.

  4. The second one but pull the color from the word “color.” Don’t have to be so literal—the kids will figure it out!
