Texas Hill Country Wildflowers!

Oh my … we have been cycling through an explosion of color. Everyone talks about Texas Blue Bonnets, and we have seen tons of these flowers, but the variety of wildflowers is amazing. Even the cactus are blooming! If you include our short shake down cruise / ride near my brother-in-law’s farm, we have now cycled 417 miles and are staying overnight in Stockdale, Texas. With out further adieu … Texas Wildflowers by the hundreds of thousands!

  1. Lady Bird Johnson was instrumental in helping to preserve Texas wildflowers. They are glorious.

    1. 3 years ago, also in the spring we bike toured from Texas up to St. Louis. Our ride took us both to the LBJ Ranch and the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center … she did great things to beautify America. Here is a link to the Wildflower Center … https://www.wildflower.org

  2. Thank you, thank you for the flower photos. How beautiful! So appreciated by this Northener as we are in the midst of an April blizzard.
